From pastures, backwoods, and the underbrush of the hunting field, to the rock-lined banks of the fishing stream, men are coming together to share their passion for the great outdoors, and for the God who created it.
Sportsmen regularly experience things that many of us miss. Like a peaceful sunrise while fishing on a clear lake, or a breathtaking display of color as it sets behind purple mountains. Sportsmen instinctively know that nature testifies to God's goodness and love towards us. Simply put, these are insights you won't find in a work-a-day world.
The purpose of the Sportsman's Ministry at Ryans Creek Baptist Church is to utilize the great outdoors as a tool to reach the lost of our community and to bring them to a saving knowledge of Christ. It will also focus on meeting the needs of the people in our area giving us the chance to minister to them. Our goal is to show the love of Christ to everyone we meet.
